Browser storage
The comparison tool uses localStorage to remember products you actively select. First-party measurement uses sessionStorage to keep a random observation session identifier, entry-source classification and test flag within a browser session. You can remove these entries with your browser’s site-data controls.
First-party observations
Browser observations include visited page paths, timestamps, a random session identifier, build version, entry-source category or referring hostname, and interactions such as filters, comparisons, pagination and source clicks. The first-party browser collector records whether search text is present rather than the raw search text.
These observations help measure usability, search and AI referral visits, and content discovery. Referrer information can be absent; an inferred source is not proof of an AI citation.
Infrastructure logs
Our AWS delivery infrastructure receives request information including IP addresses, user agents, paths, status codes and timestamps. Server logs are used for delivery diagnostics, crawler verification and aggregate reporting. IP-based crawler checks do not make the underlying logs anonymous.
Microsoft Clarity
CarryFacts loads Microsoft Clarity for interaction analytics and session replay. This third-party service has its own processing and browser-storage behavior. Review Microsoft’s privacy statement for details. The first-party collector’s search-text restriction is not a promise about third-party recording behavior.
