Although X-Pac is strong and water-resistant, the reviewer notes that handling the backpack produces a loud crunchy sound that may not suit everyone. The main compartment includes a tech organization panel with separate sleeves for a 16-inch laptop and an 11-inch tablet. The laptop sleeve has a false bottom, which the reviewer says helps prevent damage from drops alongside protection from surrounding sides.
A hidden exterior bottle pocket accommodates bottles up to one liter, while the front compartment provides smaller pockets for convenient access. The upper back security pocket holds flat items such as a phone, passport, and wallet, remaining inaccessible to pickpockets when worn.
