The key leash sits inside another zippered pocket, forcing users to open both that pocket and the main compartment before reaching their keys. A D-ring provides a convenient shortcut for loosening the strap, avoiding the tedious process of feeding it back through adjustment hardware. The rear security pocket rests against the wearer and accommodates flat essentials such as passports, transit cards, cash, phones, and wallets.
Dual main-compartment zippers let users position the opening near their chest and create a partial opening for easier access. A high sunglasses pocket uses soft mesh to protect lenses while keeping them away from the compartment’s area where gear gets compressed.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer reports that the removable strap allows customized carrying, while the 840D fabric keeps the bag lightweight without sacrificing durability.
- The Pro Sling can stand as a desk pouch because of its flat base and removable strap, while its slim profile conserves desk space.
- A D-ring provides a convenient shortcut for loosening the strap, avoiding the tedious process of feeding it back through adjustment hardware.
Reported trade-offs
- The removable strap works, but its gatekeeper clips feel insufficiently refined and can be difficult to detach.
- The key leash sits inside another zippered pocket, forcing users to open both that pocket and the main compartment before reaching their keys.
- Small travel items tend to settle in the narrow compartment’s bottom area, where the reviewer says they become difficult to see and retrieve.
