The tested X-Pac exterior is described as lightweight for its type, highly water-resistant, durable, and subtly technical rather than overtly outdoorsy. YKK zippers are reported as smooth, reliable, and sturdy, while locking zippers protect the main and laptop compartments when paired with a user-supplied lock.
