The water-bottle pocket accommodates a standard 24-ounce bottle, but its lack of a bottom gusset leaves the bottle sitting higher than ideal. The suitcase-style main compartment provides a broad opening, a mesh divider, and space for packing cubes, technology, and a hoodie. The front quick-access pocket includes two stretchy mesh pockets and enough depth for bulkier items such as a hoodie.
The shoulder straps offer decent width but limited padding, while the reviewer found the padded top handle noticeably more comfortable. The reviewer says the thin 280D nylon reduces weight and bulk, but involves a tradeoff in abrasion resistance during normal travel.
Reported strengths
