The metal zippers functioned during testing, but the reviewer considered them low quality and noted that the suitcase lacks a built-in TSA lock. The clamshell interior separates clothing and accessories with bucket space, a large zippered section, a smaller pocket, and hold-down straps. The reviewer considered the expansion modest but useful for accommodating an extra shirt or two near the end of a trip.
The independently rotating wheels rattle noticeably and can suddenly turn, making the suitcase difficult to pull straight and roll smoothly. The telescoping handle offers two height settings and remains functional, although the reviewer found the bag wobbly while rolling.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer found three grab handles, including a bottom handle, useful for maneuvering the suitcase through bins, trunks, and tight spaces.
- The reviewer fit a 13-inch MacBook in the secondary compartment, which is roomy enough for a 16-inch MacBook Pro with careful insertion.
- The clamshell interior separates clothing and accessories with bucket space, a large zippered section, a smaller pocket, and hold-down straps.
Reported trade-offs
- Its expansion zipper creates a wedge on the front side, accommodating gear above the bucket space without directly enlarging that compartment.
