The reviewer finds the vinyl strap adjustment buckle unusually difficult to slide because the material sticks to itself. The reviewer finds cross-body wear more comfortable because the adjustable single strap distributes the bag's weight across the back. A padded strip at the top of the strap adds comfort and helps the bag remain in place while worn.
The lined interior includes open pockets, zippered pockets, a pen sleeve, a spine pocket, reinforced edges, and a key clip. The reviewer fits an iPad Air 2 in the large zippered tablet compartment, with spare room and padding separating contents.
Reported strengths

- The reviewer finds cross-body wear more comfortable because the adjustable single strap distributes the bag's weight across the back.
Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer reports that the spine pocket can hold a thinner bottle, but vinyl grips plastic and makes insertion and removal difficult.
- The reviewer finds the vinyl strap adjustment buckle unusually difficult to slide because the material sticks to itself.
- The reviewer reports that a fully loaded HBBevo feels heavy, although cross-body wearing makes its weight easier to carry.
