Reviewed sample: Away · Softside Carry-On · Reviewed production revision unconfirmed · 32.2- 37.2 L (when expanded); reviewed Carry-On size. Historical publisher sample only; current production equivalence, stock and individual fit remain unverified. A complete CarryFacts specification record is not yet linked.
The review describes a restrained soft-sided roller with two concealed exterior pockets, an interior compression panel with mesh storage, and a hanging pouch for toiletries. The reviewer also valued the built-in expansion and included travel accessories, including a combination lock and laundry bag. These features support straightforward packing without requiring packing cubes.
The main compromises are capacity and rough-surface handling. The reviewer packed tightly despite experience with 35-45L travel backpacks, and found the wheels smooth but disappointing on a Brooklyn sidewalk. The Carry-On may suit short work or personal trips, while travelers needing more room or regularly crossing rough streets should check the larger sizes or another wheel setup.
