The gusseted sides let the tote expand, but its single-seam bottom does not create a distinct, supportive floor. The reviewer finds the tote difficult to prop upright unless a heavy, flat item inside anchors its rounded bottom. The handles support shoulder carrying, but the reviewer says their orientation makes the bag awkward and protruding on narrow sidewalks.
Despite the angled carry position, the handles’ side surface spreads weight evenly, reducing how severely the load digs into the shoulder. The tote compresses into its included pouch, but the reviewer notes that the pouch is separate rather than built into the bag.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer describes the ripstop nylon as thin yet durable, reasonably stain resistant, and machine washable when staining occurs.
- After frequent compressing and decompressing, the reviewer reports no noticeable damage to the tested sample, despite its lack of stretch.
- Despite the angled carry position, the handles’ side surface spreads weight evenly, reducing how severely the load digs into the shoulder.
Reported trade-offs
- Because the tote has no interior compartments or pockets, the reviewer recommends using packing cubes to organize its contents.
