The reviewer says backpack mode feels cumbersome and less comfortable than favorite backpacks, though wearing it for one or two hours remains manageable. The small top pocket contains two mesh sections, providing quick-access storage for a wallet, keys, and phone during either carry mode. The main compartment includes lid and side-wall mesh pockets, useful for separating small clothing and gear needing quick access after landing.
The backpack straps stow behind a full back-panel cover, whose padding improves comfort during the converted carry mode. The aluminum telescopic handle works properly but offers only one height setting, limiting comfort for travelers with different heights.
