The reviewer measures the main compartment below its advertised capacity and treats the sling as roughly a 2.5-to-3-liter carry. The reviewer reports that split zipper placement creates a wide opening, making the main compartment easier to pack despite limiting pull-position flexibility. The reviewer finds the webbing harness comfortable across front, back, side, and messenger-style carrying positions in everyday use.
The hidden rear pocket keeps a wallet close against the body and provides room for a Kindle, passport, or boarding pass. The reviewer reports that a water bottle, novel, and over-ear headphones fit, while an 11.5-inch tablet sits too tightly near the zipper.
