Because the crossbody strap is not detachable, it dangles when the Bellroy Cinch Bucket Bag is carried using its handles. The side slip pockets are handy for storing small everyday-carry accessories such as a phone or wallet. The reviewers found that the unpadded crossbody strap lacks enough cushioning for comfortable carrying over long periods.
The main compartment is an open space that remains relatively easy to view because its cinched opening is broad and its fabric light-colored. Reviewers found enough room for bulky gear or several smaller accessories, though careful layering and stacking are required inside.
