The reviewer found phone access inconvenient because the bag lacks a dedicated exterior pocket and requires opening the main area. The reviewer found the unpadded seatbelt-style shoulder strap soft enough for comfort and straightforward to adjust when changing the fit. The top grab handle gives the reviewer a convenient way to pick up the bag for short carries.
The front secondary compartment includes two slip pockets and a key leash, which the reviewer used for a battery bank, headphones, and keys. The padded back-panel section protects an e-reader, small tablet, or book, but the reviewer considered its space cost excessive.
