The internal aluminum frame transfers weight to the hips, while wide shoulder straps and dual adjustable sternum straps provide a secure, balanced fit.
The reviewer reports that the huge side pockets hold water and a filter, although reaching those items on the move required awkward joint contortions. The dual bottom cords provide useful attachment points for tent poles, sleeping pads, or wet gear, while side straps secure tall items.
