The reviewer recommends a protective sleeve because the lightly padded laptop compartment offers limited protection for a 16-inch device. The reviewer says the laptop compartment fits up to a 16-inch laptop and includes a strap with light padding. Internal magnetic clips let the Rennen Tote accept Boundary Supply cubes and accessories, extending its organization through the company’s modular ecosystem.
The reviewer finds the nylon handles strong and comfortable, with enough length to carry the Rennen Tote over a shoulder. The Rennen Tote uses recycled RE-3 nylon or X-Pac sailcloth, which the reviewer associates with toughness and weather resistance.
