The strap uses through-the-buckle adjustment, while its small pull tab can loosen the strap after some practice. When expanded, the main compartment held a small water bottle, two hygiene pouches, a battery pack, and an iPhone cable. The reviewer found the expanded main-compartment zipper easier to use than expected because this pack is smaller overall.
The back compartment provides two zippered mesh pockets, but the reviewer found their small internal zippers difficult to operate. Removing the straps lets the Annex Carrier function as a dopp kit, a pouch inside larger luggage, or a sling around town.
Reported strengths
- The Annex Carrier uses X-Pac on its front, Cordura on its back, and YKK water-repellent zippers, according to the review.
- Its removable strap can be configured for either left- or right-shoulder carry, giving the reviewer flexible wearing options.
- When expanded, the main compartment held a small water bottle, two hygiene pouches, a battery pack, and an iPhone cable.
Reported trade-offs
