The reviewer cautions that damp gear can leave neighboring items damp when packed inside these cubes for the journey home. The reviewer appreciates that color-coded zippers make it clear which zipper opens or closes the cube and which compresses it. The mesh allows users to see partially inside each cube, potentially helping them identify contents without opening the zipper.
The cubes lack lining or extra structural material, which the reviewer appreciates because clothing can occupy that otherwise wasted space. The mesh stays mostly upright while packing and is not especially slippery, making filling the cubes easier for the reviewer.

Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer says mesh may let clothing breathe and air out somewhat, especially when dirty clothes are repacked for the return trip.
- The reviewer cautions that damp gear can leave neighboring items damp when packed inside these cubes for the journey home.
- The reviewer identifies the absence of a smaller undergarment cube as a limitation that reduces clothing organization options.
