Carryology says the broad lower gusset expands usable room while helping the loaded bag sit close to the body. The reviewer fit a small mirrorless camera alongside daily items and extra gear. A separate top pocket handles smaller essentials, while the wide front zip was said to make the main space easy to reach. Front, back, and side carry were all described as comfortable options.

The reported compromises centre on the strap. Carryology considered the quick-detach buckle more elaborate than necessary and found its configuration awkward when switching carry modes, since only one end swivels. The small-pocket zipper pull could also snag when operating the main zipper. Check which shoulder and carry position you expect to use most often.
