The large front compartment has no internal organization or retention straps, allowing contents to shift when the bag is not laid down. The rear compartment protects a laptop in a padded sleeve, with space above and below to reduce risk from accidental drops. The laptop area includes a narrow accessory pocket, two pen slots, and a padded slip pocket for small electronics, according to the reviewer.
The reviewer found the pack floppy across colorways, with the ripstop nylon front appearing more finished when filled completely. During a downpour, the reviewer reported that everything inside the Eagle Creek pack stayed dry through that testing.
