The sternum strap uses ladder positions rather than micro-adjustments, but it resists accidental sliding and remains easy to reposition. The two stretchy-mesh bottle pockets accommodate larger bottles and can also hold small travel tripods, although fully packed bags make larger models harder to fit. The dense back-panel padding and aeration kept the reviewer comfortable for hours, while helping the pack stay cool in sunlight.

The raised laptop compartment allows quick access, keeps a computer off the floor, and gains protection from the frame sheet and padded back panel. The large front pocket holds over-ear headphones, a rain jacket, and other bulky gear, although its upper space is difficult to use.
