The reviewer wears the pack high to suit the upper back rather than positioning it lower for the lumbar area. The reviewer reports that the 420d HT nylon has worn well and remained water resistant enough to avoid issues over two seasons. The reviewer finds the narrow, athletic silhouette both agile and well shaped, while the shoulder straps become unnoticeable during hiking.
The small top pocket is, according to the reviewer, sufficiently sized and accessible while the pack is being worn. The reviewer says the internal mesh envelope pocket fits cords, bars, and maps, while the discreet internal probe pockets are particularly appealing.
