The reviewer notes that the coated fabric can show light scuffing or chalky marks, particularly when the sling is new. The hidden back pocket lies flat against the body, giving passports and other flat valuables a discreet, close-to-body location. The coated nylon is lightweight and weather-resistant, while the reviewer notes it avoids the thickness associated with ballistic nylon.
The 3L version accommodates a small tablet and water bottle, making it more practical for everyday carry than the 1L pocket-reliever size. As a crossbody, the sling moves naturally with the body and feels smooth during use, according to the reviewer.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer describes the Fyro Citta Sling as intentionally simple, with a front pocket, gusseted main compartment, and hidden rear pocket.
- The wide gusseted opening and interior mesh, stretch, and soft-lined pockets make gear easier to see, separate, and retrieve.
- The hidden back pocket lies flat against the body, giving passports and other flat valuables a discreet, close-to-body location.
Reported trade-offs
- Removing quick-release and magnetic hardware increases security, but the reviewer says this makes the sling slower to put on and remove.
- The reviewer notes that the coated fabric can show light scuffing or chalky marks, particularly when the sling is new.
- When fully packed, the lighter flexible materials can cause visible shape distortion, although the reviewer considers this expected for the build.
