The review describes the exterior as durable, rugged recycled-plastic fabric, though its surface marks fairly easily during use. The rolltop closure works as expected when packed, but its strap loosens easily and becomes difficult to tighten with little gear inside. The front quick-access pocket fits a phone and wallet, but its rigid material makes it difficult to access while worn or fully packed.
A small zippered pocket inside the main compartment provides a useful place to secure items that might otherwise move around. The removable laptop sleeve fits computers up to fifteen inches and includes an exterior zippered pocket that adds storage when installed.
