The back-to-back layout maximizes the pill-shaped pouch’s space, but only one compartment is accessible at a time and the pouch must be twisted when hanging. The Explorer MINI uses two zippered compartments to separate dental hygiene supplies from other toiletries, without adding interior pockets or expanding gussets. Despite its small footprint, the main compartment accommodated deodorant, face lotion, face wash, eye drops, and a travel razor during testing.
The glossy interior finish makes accidental spills easier to clean, providing a useful practical benefit for toiletries that occasionally spill. Most electric toothbrushes fit only after their brush heads are separated, while regular and travel-size toothbrushes fit without that adjustment.
Reported strengths
- Its adjustable silicone strap can loop onto towel racks, doorknobs, shower curtain railings, and other fixtures, making hanging straightforward at the sink.
- Both slim-capped and wide-capped toothpaste tubes fit the toothbrush pocket, although a wide-capped tube can become harder to fit when packed.
- Despite its small footprint, the main compartment accommodated deodorant, face lotion, face wash, eye drops, and a travel razor during testing.
Reported trade-offs
- The all-black interior can be difficult to navigate under poor lighting, limiting visibility while searching for toiletries inside.
