The reviewer found the cubes harder to use initially because packing them effectively requires more tactical planning than loading standard zippered cubes. The reviewer describes the mesh material as flexible around bulky gear, supporting easier packing when clothing does not fit neatly. The polyester center provides protection for clothing and, according to the reviewer, will not become soaked immediately after contacting something wet.
The polyester mesh arms are lightweight and easy to work with, while their semi-transparent construction adds some breathability for clothing. The cubes can cinch tightly around smaller items or expand to accommodate larger clothing, making their capacity adaptable to changing loads.
