Because the Metro Pack lacks back padding, the reviewer must deliberately pack clothing inside to create cushioning for other items. The reviewer says the Metro Pack suits people with streamlined everyday carry and may appeal to techwear-oriented users. The Metro Pack uses one main compartment, a sewn and seam-sealed bottom, and a roll-top closure secured by one buckle.
The reviewer finds the roll-top closure effective because its volume adjusts to the load, while the single buckle keeps the design streamlined. Despite its simple construction, the reviewer easily fits a day’s belongings and weekend supplies into the Metro Pack’s concentrated main compartment.
