Although the shoulder straps are unpadded and the adjustment straps are very thin, the reviewer found the backpack comfortable on the back. The main compartment offers both a drawstring top opening and a nearly full-length rear zip, supporting access from two directions. The large front pouch can accommodate an OS map and a couple of filters, complementing the spacious main compartment.
Side pockets hold a small tripod and water bottle, while pull cords secure taller items or provide attachment points for walking poles. A small internal padded valuables pocket is at least large enough for an iPhone 14, according to the reviewer.
