Testing found the practical capacity below the advertised range, with most usable space in the main compartment and exterior pockets tightening when packed. Side access into the main compartment reduces the need to fully unroll the Massform Wave Rolltop Backpack, while its orange lining improves visibility. The recycled polyester shell with PU coating repels water during everyday use, and the side-access laptop compartment permits quick entry without opening main storage.
Wide shoulder straps distribute weight more evenly, while the luggage pass-through lets the Massform Wave Rolltop Backpack slide over a suitcase handle. The interior uses stretchy mesh pockets and a notebook sleeve, a layout the reviewer says works best with pouches rather than loose items.
