The Nest’s main pocket holds a full-sized iPad, but doing so leaves the tablet unpadded and leaves little room for other items. USB cables can run through channels beside the tablet sleeve, while a separate pass-through connects the rear compartment with front charging pockets. The reviewer reports that the Reach cord can charge attached electronics inside the Pack, then be unplugged and stowed quickly when traveling.

The Pack provides a mesh fly-out water-bottle holder and two slim zippered pockets for phones, magazines, and travel documents. The Nest includes a padded sleeve for a small eReader or iPad mini, plus a web handle for retrieving it from seatback pockets.

Reported strengths

  • The MOS Pack has a luggage pass-through, a laptop compartment accommodating most 15.6-inch laptops, and a reinforced top handle.
  • The MOS Pack uses bright orange lining to help the reviewer find items in its interior under poor airline-cabin lighting.
  • USB cables can run through channels beside the tablet sleeve, while a separate pass-through connects the rear compartment with front charging pockets.

Reported trade-offs

  • The reviewer found the larger front pocket tight and difficult to access when the Nest occupied the main front compartment.
  • The Nest’s main pocket holds a full-sized iPad, but doing so leaves the tablet unpadded and leaves little room for other items.
  • The reviewer notes that the Pack lacks accommodation for noise-canceling headphones, a rain jacket, or other items larger than a hard-backed novel.
