The lower front pocket's limited extension reduces capacity and potential uses, although its middle-mounted volume keeps loose items from falling deeply. The reviewer found the Mystery Ranch Prizefighter light, with immaculate stitching, no construction deficiencies, and burly YKK zippers on every compartment. The fixed harness includes breathable mesh on the back and strap undersides, and the reviewer finds it comfortable with load lifters.
The Prizefighter has exactly three externally accessible zippered compartments, giving the reviewer straightforward access across the bag's main layout. Its simple admin area provides four open pockets and two pen slots, which the reviewer appreciates despite the absence of zippered pockets.
Reported strengths

- The reviewer prefers 500D Cordura because it feels sufficiently durable while avoiding the additional weight associated with 1000D material.
- The reviewer found the Mystery Ranch Prizefighter light, with immaculate stitching, no construction deficiencies, and burly YKK zippers on every compartment.
Reported trade-offs
- The upper front pocket fits sunglasses well, but the reviewer finds it too small for much else and lacking organization or a key tether.
- The lower front pocket's limited extension reduces capacity and potential uses, although its middle-mounted volume keeps loose items from falling deeply.
- The reviewer wishes the iPad/document sleeve were wider and not completely flat, believing those changes would improve its usability.
