The reviewer reports that optional extras make the backpack somewhat pricey compared with similarly sized competing backpacks overall. Its ladder system lets users expand the split bag’s top compartment, allocating more or less room to camera equipment or everyday essentials. For camera equipment, users can add padded Velcro dividers or choose between small or large customizable cubes for organization.
The main compartment accepts cubes through a rear zippered flap, which also provides two mesh pockets for smaller items. Users can slip an appropriate configured cube into the backpack for a scenario, or leave cubes out for regular backpack use.
