The reviewer notes that the Camera Sling lacks secondary pockets, leaving no dedicated quick-grab storage outside its main compartment. Pivoting main-strap attachments let the reviewer adjust fit, and the sling can be carried in sling, messenger, or crossbody configurations. The reviewer found adjusting and swinging the sling easy, despite its relatively large size and heavy camera load.
The foam-padded back panel and shoulder strap kept the reviewer comfortable, although the rigid structure was not body-hugging. An elastic loop can hold the main compartment partially open, allowing access without repeatedly opening its zipper.

Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer reports that the tarpaulin is prone to scuffs, with marks already appearing on the sample's front from bulging gear inside.
- The reviewer notes that the Camera Sling lacks secondary pockets, leaving no dedicated quick-grab storage outside its main compartment.
- The built-in camera cube is non-removable, but two dividers partition its space; the reviewer fit a camera with lens and extra lenses.
