When compressed, the duffel becomes remarkably small and should slide into a daypack or travel backpack, though not a standard sling. The shoulder straps are thin and unpadded, but the reviewer finds them comfortable for short trips and useful for resting a tired arm. A sternum strap on a six-section rail permits micro-adjustments and helps stabilize the shoulder straps when the pack carries a heavy load.
The backpack has no padded or aerated back panel, so rigid items against the wearer’s back can make carrying uncomfortable. The secondary compartment provides room for items needing separation and includes a small zippered pocket for smaller belongings.
Reported strengths
