The reviewer found the harness comfortable and supportive during activity, although the Chest Rig bounced slightly while running. Soft mesh and stiff foam on the body-facing side prevented gear inside the Archeon Chest Rig from poking the wearer’s chest. The Archeon Chest Rig divides its internal space into three separately zipped sections that can be accessed while worn.
The rear compartment provides substantial space with two mesh pockets and an internal zip pocket for maps, lighting, and charging equipment. Rounded corners keep the rear compartment from popping open for rapid emergency access, limiting its suitability for that specific need.
Reported strengths
