The reviewer sometimes had to unpack part of the bag before reinserting a full hydration bladder, despite its separate accessible section. The reviewer found the adjustable back system allowed airflow and avoided an overly sweaty back during demanding climbs. The Osprey Talon 55 includes an easy-access hydration sleeve, compression straps, and attachment points for ice axes and trekking poles.
The reviewer particularly liked the deep, double-entry side pockets, whose stretchy mesh helped reach water bottles or snacks without removing the pack. The Osprey Talon 55 provides zipped lid pockets and hip-fin pockets for convenient access to essentials, snacks, sunglasses, and electronics.
Reported strengths
