The reviewer finds both carry handles too thin for comfortable long-term carrying, leaving the shoulder straps as the preferred option. Despite connected shoulder straps, the reviewer finds the harness nonrestrictive around broad shoulders, with ample padding on straps and back panel. A gusseted zippered shoulder-strap pocket provides convenient access to cash, cards, and tickets while accommodating a fair amount.
The front pocket includes a mesh divider and long key leash, but its deep corners can hide small items. The reviewer says even a slim smartphone in the upper back-panel pocket can create a noticeable pressure point against the wearer’s back.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer reports that an underlying metal mesh layer makes the backpack resistant to slashes without noticeably affecting its exterior appearance.
- The reviewer says the bag’s various zippers feel durable, without finding a drastic difference in quality between the different zipper types.
