The strap lacks padding and aeration and can dig into the wearer when the sling is fully packed, although it usually fits comfortably. Both compartments use paired zipper pulls that connect to a central Roobar Sport locking mechanism, adding a deliberate access step. A padded top handle provides a more comfortable carrying option, although the reviewer found the strap easier and more comfortable for regular use.
The front compartment includes a visible mesh zip pocket suitable for a wallet, small tech items, or a snack. The main compartment has a larger zippered mesh pocket that accommodates bigger items such as battery banks, snacks, or packable gear.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer describes the recycled polyester materials as durable, while the water-resistant coating handles light precipitation but warrants cover during heavier weather.
- The reviewer notes that the bag combines an internal slashguard with RFID protection, making physical cutting and digital-data exposure more difficult.
- Both compartments use paired zipper pulls that connect to a central Roobar Sport locking mechanism, adding a deliberate access step.
Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer reports that unlocked zipper pulls become quite noisy, so they typically secure them when access is unnecessary.
- The strap lacks padding and aeration and can dig into the wearer when the sling is fully packed, although it usually fits comfortably.
- The reviewer says the soft semi-padded liner pocket fits an eight-inch tablet, but its padding is not hugely protective.
