According to Carryology, the pack uses three zones: a slim front organizer, a broad configurable middle compartment, and a padded body-side section. The middle space accepts hook-backed organizers and can be cinched flatter, while the rear section is suited to fragile flat electronics or denser items kept near the torso. Carryology also describes the harness as secure enough for chest use.
The publisher’s compromises are activity- and material-dependent. For technical climbing or vertical scrambling, the forward projection means the pack should move into a backpack. Carryology also advises keeping the chest clear on very hot days. Buyers choosing the ultralight UX10 option should weigh its low weight against greater vulnerability to a sharp rock.
Reported strengths

Reported trade-offs
- Check: vertical scrambling may require stowing the pack in a backpack.
- Check: UX10 can tear when it meets a sharp rock.
- Check: the publisher avoids chest carry on very hot days.
