For organization, Carryology describes four pockets and calls the outer compartment the easiest to reach. Inside, the main space has configurable dividers; their folding section can form a shelf between stacked gear. The reviewer says the sling could be swung forward to retrieve small essentials without interrupting their pace, and that the compact layout made contents easier to locate.

The compromises are primarily load-related. Carryology says users need to reduce what they bring, even at this size, and expects laptop weight to become problematic depending on the rest of the pack. External carry also warrants attention: the cord-hook straps depend on tension to remain secured. Check that a 13-inch laptop and the remainder of a typical day’s kit produce an acceptable carry weight for your use.
