Shotkit describes comfortable shoulder use but a tight front pocket. Pack Hacker adds waist-carry complaints, small-pocket interference and divider-edge fraying after about a month. Different loads and durations could affect these impressions.

Before buying, try your own camera layout and intended carry mode. These reports do not establish winter-coat fit, protection for every camera kit or venue admission. Neither source proves that its sample matches the currently linked catalog SKU.

Reported strengths

  • Both sources value adjustable storage and shoulder carrying options.

Reported trade-offs

  • Pocket access remains a trade-off; Pack Hacker’s longer account adds a divider-wear observation.

Scope and limits

  • This is CarryFacts analysis of attributed external reports, not an original product test.
  • Both reports concern historical V2 6L samples. The currently linked Black SKU and any later material revision have not been shown to be identical.
  • The publishers use different loads and conditions. Their measurements, scores and prices are not averaged or imported.
  • Pack Hacker discloses affiliate links; Shotkit discloses affiliate links and a supplied sample. Neither disclosure is a claim that the two reports used a shared test protocol.
  • Source publication dates are not established on the read pages; known update dates and our verification date remain separate.
