The Peak Design Outdoor Backpacks use recycled, weather-proof Terra Shell with ripstop nylon that is PU-coated and abrasion resistant. The 45L Peak Design Outdoor Backpack accepts the Large Camera Cube, but removing its padded insert allows space for a tent or sleeping bag.

Both Peak Design Outdoor Backpacks include an internal sleeve for a 16-inch laptop or hydration bladder, although the reviewer preferred front hydration storage. Both Peak Design Outdoor Backpacks offer extensive strap adjustments for different bodies and torsos, while the 45L version adds a metal frame for rigidity.
