The reviewer could not find a useful purpose for the fold-out mesh zipper pocket and considered removing it, despite finding no quality defect. The reviewer used the elastic loops for pens, flashlights, and knives, while deep side pockets accommodated larger items such as a notebook or med kit. The reviewer reports that the pouch securely organized a normal daily load and still left room for additional items.
The reviewer quickly repurposed the pouch as a journal carrier for multiple pens, a brass ruler, a Swiss Army knife, and the journal. The reviewer describes the pouch as substantial and reports that its contents remained fine after repeated tossing during a budget-item test.
Reported strengths

Reported trade-offs
- The carabiner snagged the mesh panel and slightly ripped it, so the reviewer removed it and stopped using it.
- The reviewer could not find a useful purpose for the fold-out mesh zipper pocket and considered removing it, despite finding no quality defect.
