When packed incorrectly, the Meta’s waist strap and contents create a conical shape that can complicate fitting into aircraft luggage compartments. The reviewer found the Meta’s sculpted back pad comfortable, with airflow channeling and adjustable shoulder straps for loaded carrying. The Dart provides a full-length accessory pocket and a Velcro-secured rear document sleeve for organizing work materials.
Although the reviewer found the Meta’s harness very comfortable, he considered the bulky waist strap more substantial than its added comfort justified. The reviewer used the Dart separately for conferences, tourism, and carrying a camera after removing the laptop during trips.
