Carryology reports TPU-coated 600D polyester, welded seams, and a zippered top with a storm flap. Organization includes exterior zip pockets, internal pockets, a mesh pocket, and a sewn-in pocket. The full-length opening, side cinch points, top handles, and detachable shoulder strap provide straightforward access and basic carry flexibility.
The reported strengths are weather-oriented construction, simple organization, understated styling, and metal hardware. The compromises are equally concrete: the handles are not comfortable for carrying at the side, and the bag has little structure. The reviewed sample also lacked the removable plastic floor Stio mentions. Check: treat it as water resistant rather than waterproof, particularly around submersion.
Reported strengths
- Weather-oriented shell and closure construction
- Multiple pockets with a large main opening
- Understated styling and metal hardware
Reported trade-offs
- Handles are too small for comfortable side carrying
- Limited structure can leave the bag lumpy
- Water resistant rather than waterproof
Scope and limits
