The large lower front pocket provides useful capacity, but stuffing it too full reduces room inside the main compartment. The gusseted bottle pockets lie flat against the bag when unused, then expand while remaining close to the body. Reviewers found the padded harness and structured back panel comfortable, including when the Daypack was fully packed out.

The wide, soft grab handle makes carrying the Daypack under an airplane seat more convenient in a tight space. The horseshoe-opening main compartment is spacious for packing cubes and pouches, while its limited organization suits pouch-based packing.

Reported strengths

  • The reviewer describes the recycled-polyester shell as soft to the touch and weather-resistant during an unexpected downpour outside.
  • During a brief office-to-car downpour, the reviewer reports that none of the contents, including the laptop, became wet.
  • The gusseted bottle pockets lie flat against the bag when unused, then expand while remaining close to the body.

Reported trade-offs

  • The reviewer notes that people wanting numerous pockets for organizing tech may find the Daypack’s simple interior unsuitable.
  • The large lower front pocket provides useful capacity, but stuffing it too full reduces room inside the main compartment.
  • The front pockets’ concealed zippers can catch beneath their flaps, making access uneven depending on how the pockets are packed.
