Because the bottle pocket lacks elasticity, a slimmer bottle may not stay secure if the bag is jostled or overturned. A top quick-access pocket accommodates frequently used items, while its key leash keeps keys separate from other contents. The external strap system forms a basket for cylindrical items, and the reviewer easily secured an umbrella there during testing.
Mesh lining on the back panel adds breathability, which the reviewer particularly appreciated with the black colorway used. The front-pocket zippers can be difficult to grasp, slowing access somewhat, though included cord pulls help mitigate that problem.
