The Synapse 25 includes sewn O-rings that let users attach key straps to keys, flashlights, knives, and organizer pouches. The reviewer notes that the mesh organizer provides visibility into stored items, closes relatively flat, and tolerates some overloading.
The reviewer describes the Synapse 25's available exterior materials as tough and highlights its YKK Aquaguard water-repellent zippers. The reviewer found the Synapse 25 fairly comfortable because its low-profile design keeps weight near the body's center line.
