He says the reviewed 16″ by 11″ by 4.5″, just-over-2-pound bag accommodates a 15″ laptop, tablet, daily accessories, and a snack or small lunch. Positives include quick access, a comfortable thin shoulder pad, and a backpack setup he found suitable for all-day carry.
The compromises are limited built-in organization, plastic and nylon hardware that may look too rugged for formal carry, and backpack straps that remain attached and protrude somewhat when stowed. The coated lining is water-resistant, but Patterson explicitly says the bag is not fully waterproof. Check whether the open layout and convertible hardware suit your preferred carry style.
