The reviewer finds the mostly open main compartment’s access a little tight, recommending packing cubes or pouches for organization. The backpack straps have decent padding, breathable mesh, and quick, easy adjustment, while D-rings provide places to carry gear externally. Two gusseted elastic side pockets accommodate larger water bottles and lie flat against the pack when unused, according to the reviewer.
The reviewer says the bright liner makes the top-loading compartment easier to see into, though its shape still limits access and visibility. The padded divider pocket can hold a 15-inch laptop and also works for tablets, notebooks, or documents when laptop storage is unnecessary.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer reports that the pack’s simple interior layout lets users organize belongings according to their own preferences.
- The reviewer describes 1000D nylon as durable and soft to the touch, while coated YKK zippers provide water-resistance and usually move smoothly.
- The backpack straps have decent padding, breathable mesh, and quick, easy adjustment, while D-rings provide places to carry gear externally.
Reported trade-offs
- The dedicated laptop compartment has decent padding but no false bottom, so the reviewer uses an additional case for protection.
- The reviewer finds the mostly open main compartment’s access a little tight, recommending packing cubes or pouches for organization.
- The reviewer finds the top drawstring slightly awkward because it must be tucked inside after cinching to avoid dangling.
