The laptop sleeve is unpadded and fits a 15-inch laptop only without a case, while a cased 13-inch laptop should fit. The reviewer valued the quick-grab pocket's key clip because it secured keys and avoided searching through the pocket. The horse-shoe main compartment opens into a large bucket, and the reviewer recommends small packing cubes or pouches for quicker access.
The light gray lining inside the main compartment improves visibility, according to the review, making contents easier to see. The reviewer reports that the packable, non-compressible Tortuga Outbreaker Daypack can be packed flat inside a larger travel bag.
